So tomorrow is my son's birthday and hunting season is starting which makes me think of when I used to have birthday parties for my son when he was little. My mom and dad live 4 hours away. Every year, I would invite them to come to his party, and every year they would turn me down. Reason: My mom was afraid they would get hit by a stray bullet while they were driving. Of course, after a couple of weeks, the story would change and it would be that I didn't have the party at a good time for them to attend which made no sense at all because I always had his party on a Saturday afternoon.
Darn those pesky hunters!!!!!!!
